Seismic navigation data management

The company’s signature service is the provision of quality assurance / quality control services to the seismic data management community.  Here particular emphasis is placed upon the QA/QC of the positioning data (navigation data).  The company has been actively involved within this market sector for over 20 years and the experiences gained have resulted in the creation of the Geo Suite tools that are used by our analysts to assess the quality of the positioning data.

2D QC seismic navigation data

2D seismic data is often delivered in a range of different data formats that depend upon vintage of the data and the source of the data authority.  Our tools enable any data types to be imported and analysed before being editing and then published to one of the commonly recognized data exchange file formats.  So regardless of the initial format and quality of the data it will be delivered back to the client in one of the recognized formats ready for uploading to the corporate data store or to the interpretation package.

3D QC seismic navigation data
The company provides a similar range of different QC functions to examine the quality of 3D seismic navigation data sets.  These data sets are treated following our well defined work flows and procedures to ensure that the navigation data is representative of the geophysical trace data it is designed to position.  All data is delivered back to the client in an exchange format recognized by the industry to ensure it is fit for purpose and ready for immediate storage or loading to the interpretation package.

Bin grid data analyis

The bin grid analysis is performed to ensure that the seismic navigation 3D bin grids are fit for purpose in describing the attributes of the bin grid and the geographical extents over which the seismic survey was conducted.
